Robert Ortiz

Head instructor of Martial Arts

Robert Ortiz is one of the founders and creators of One Take Studios. Robert has over 20 years experience in Martial Arts and Dance and holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Karate. He is also a Stunt Man, Actor, and Professional Dancer. Robert got his start at a young age in Dance, and Martial Arts. He specializes in Dance form of Break Dancing and also has some knowledge in House, Locking, Popping, Jazz and a few other styles of Dance. Robert began teaching professionally at the age of 14 with specialization in teaching weapons at World Champion Jeff Smith Karate and later went on to teach in some other well known studios such as Charlie Lee Karate, Jhoon Rhee, gymnastics studios and more. Robert has taught classes in Puerto Rico for local Capoeira Students and performances and classes for conventions and special events all over. Robert has done live stunt shows for Six Flags America and some work in movies and commercials.

Neilah Carrillo

Head Instructor of Dance, Program Director & Photographer

Neilah Carrillo is not only a Professional Photographer she is a Professional Martial Arts (Black Belt) and as well a Dancer from Puerto Rico with over 16 years of experience dancing. Neilah is also one of the Founders and Creators of One Take Studios and is currently in charge as a Program Director and Photography services that we offer. She began dancing at very young age and over the years just focused on learning as many styles as possible and perfecting each style. She has over eight styles of dance some of which are traditional island dances such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and some of which are more modern like Krump, House, and Dance Hall. She will bring many lost traditional arts and many of the new hip styles of dance to the studio. Neilah has done many live shows for instance she performed in a concert for famous artist like Don Omar, some TV work, and has experience in film. In Puerto Rico she is considered the Queen and Pioneer of All Style Dance by the all the dancers because she is so well known for winning all the events she competes in and holds the title of Cypher Queen. Neilah also teaches Dance Lessons in local schools and has even gone to schools in Puerto Rico to teach underprivileged children to help grow and bring opportunities through the art form.

Neilah better known by her artistic nickname Neverless, has been invited to Red Bull Dance Your Style since 2019, the beginning of this global dance competition. Neilah aka Neverless has been competing in Red Bull Dancer Your Style Qualifiers each year and has also competed head-to-head with the Top Dancers from all USA in the National Finals. Representing OTS, PR & DMV every year since 2019 - present.
