INFINITY JAM SERIES VOL. 2 FOR THE GAUNTLET FINAL MAIN EVENT

We are thrilled to announce the culmination of our series of events that have been running throughout the spring and summer—Infinity Jams Vol.2! The Infinity Jams Series has been an incredible journey consisting of five unique events, each with its distinct style and concept, creating a special gathering space for our community to connect with some of the prominent figures in the DMV Dance community.

This exciting journey now leads us to the grand finale, scheduled for September 16th, 2023. On this day, dancers will battle fiercely to claim all five style gems, vying for the title of CHAMP OF THE YEAR 2023! In addition to the main event, we're introducing an open format for 3 vs. 3 United Styles Crew Battles and a Cypher King & Queen competition.

Our collective effort aims to inject fresh energy and enjoyment into the DMV dance scene. We invite you to join us and witness the incredible talents coming together to represent their unique styles at a single venue. This event is open to the public, and people of all ages are welcome to attend. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience!

All of us united as a collective to bring something different and fun to our scene in the DMV.

We want to welcome you to our first Infinity Jam Series for the Style Stone representing the Freedom Stone House.

Leads into the main event where they battle it out over who will win all 5 gens & be the champ of the year.

Cash prize and Winner will advance to our top 5 to compete in the gauntlet main event.

One Take Studios will be sponsoring the event coming up at Sterling Community Center along with Sterling Community Center Advisory Board, Sterling Advisory Community Center Youth Board, and Frontline State of Mind. This event is open to all as it is a family friendly environment. 

One Take Studios and OTS Crew will be hosting a free lesson and demonstration from our crew artist in the cypher session with live DJing and MCing from OTS. 

Sterling Community Center will have a Talent show open to everyone that would like to performance dance, sing, poem, comedy, music and more. There are only 12 spaces for Talent Show. If you would like to participate or know someone that would enjoy, be part of the Talent Show please feel free to share the flyer with them. Come join us for a fun activity with your friends and community.

Red Bull Dance Your Style

Challenging the best dancers and entertainers around the globe in epic 1-on-1 battles, Red Bull Dance Your Style brings improvisation to a new level. Unpredictable tunes, from mainstream hits to timeless classics, fire up the dancefloor, allowing dancers to showcase their skills and wow the crowd! And here’s the catch – the crowd are the judge!

Our head instructor Mrs. Neilah aka Neverless is once again invited by the Red Bull Team to compete for the 4th time at Red Bull Dance Your Style. This time she will be competing in Washington, DC again!

This worldwide competition is one of the number one in the open style dance battles. The fun part about this event, besides seeing and meeting amazing dancers from all over the USA. The audience is who chooses who will be the winner for each battle so the presence of everyone is really valuable in this big event.

We totally encourage all students (martial artists and dancers) to go if they would like to enjoy this fun experience that just comes around once a year and cheer for Mrs. Neilah (aka Neverless) and give her the support, she will need to make it through each battle with your vote.

One Take Studios 5 Years Anniversary

One Take is so excited and happy for this month of April. OTS made it to the 5 Years Anniversary, and we want to extend a big thank you to all of you for being part of this beautiful journey. We feel extremely grateful for all the support and love you guys bring to this wonderful family.

We are getting ready and super hype for when we all come back from spring break because we will be celebrating with everyone at OTS the 5 Years Anniversary Party that we will hold on Friday, April 22nd at 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

The infinite session is where you create endless rounds of style, character and intentionality through dance.

One Take Studios is back again with our DEMO TEAM!

Demo Team is a group of students who are training for performance in events such as Festivals in the community, among others.

One Take is creating their first and official Crew Auditions (MADE martial artist and dancers) who want to compete locally and nationally as a crew and individual as well.

This Crew will have the opportunity to have more training outside of their regular classes and train at a much higher and professional level for competitions, show opportunities, castings and more.

Teen's Night is a Fun event for our members who are older to get to have a chance to hang out with other older members. One Take believes in everyone being welcome to our events no matter the age but sometimes it's good to give people a chance to hang out with other likeminded people around their age. For most teens this is a great thing as they get a chance to be themselves, go out and have fun, but in a safe setting. At this age it is important to build friendships and surround yourself with good people who will encourage you to do better and inspire you to reach your full potential.

Teens Night will be loaded with lots of fun activities, some fun games on the mats, video games for fun on our big TV in the gaming area of the studio, arcade machines, pizza e refreshment and we will also DJ for a portion of the night so that students can dance or trick and have fun with friends.
